Description
Today Pagani has pulled the covers off one of his most expensive serial products. And with Pagani this means something. Say hello to the super extreme Huayra Roadster BC, an open hypercar with a price tag of 3.1 million Euros. Before taxes, of course.
Compared to the "normal" Huayra Roadster, almost everything here is new: engine, body, aerodynamics, chassis, exhaust - everything is different. And there is even more carbon.
The drive is provided by a 6.0-litre V12 from AMG, which in the BC produces 800 hp and 1,050 Nm of torque on the special Pirelli PZero Trofeo R rear tires. This is 36 hp and 50 Nm more than in the conventional roadster.
The 7-speed sequential transmission comes from the British supplier Xtrac and is 35% lighter than a dual-clutch transmission, helping to keep the Roadster BC's dry weight to just 1,250 kg.
Built on a titanium-carbon monocoque with a steel subframe, it features Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, 6-piston calipers at the front and 4-piston calipers at the rear. Wheel sizes are 20 inches in front and 21 inches in the rear, with 265 and 355 mm tires respectively.
The car follows the Huayra BC Coupé's styling, including a sweeping front spoiler, modified rear diffuser, fixed rear wing, vented arches, and aggressive side air intakes. It generates up to 1.9G lateral acceleration (compared to a Bugatti Chiron’s 1.5G).
Pagani hasn't released an official 0–100 km/h time, but it's expected to match the coupé’s 3.0 seconds. Only 40 cars will be built, and all are already sold.
